Wow looks terrific 903! Do you have the control sticks as well?

Yes the sticks I have, and also the left hand seat that belongs to 903. All in by the end of the year one hopes.

Oh come ON! How about something unique....you cant move for Hornet parts down our way.... :D

Looking great David - the really complicated bits must be 'boxing' the cockpit in....how about a canopy.... have you got one? Is there a similar fast jet canopy you can use, Hunter etc?

All the best with a great project

Hornet project update.

Hi Ben

It will have to be a newly manufactured Hornet canopy I'm afraid! Not thinking about this yet, there's another 1000 things on this list of "difficult and expensive" to make!

I'm spending the next 12 months soley developing the forward fuselage mould and skin woodwork. I won't be doing much else for a while.

Dave will this be a stand alone panel or will it go into a cockpit section eventually?

Peter,

Sorry i've only just seen your post as someone kindly bumped the thread.

Yes, the Harrier console will be going into the cockpit (see thread 'Harrier GR1'), but more parts arriving almost weekly now.

Heres the latest, the HUD and stand-by gunsight loosely assembled for a photo...

Cheers.....

Dave C . The hornet cockpit looks fantastic! I wonder if I should start a thread for cockpits only???

Dave T that is quite a bit of high tech kit there. A huge jump from the ring and bead site eh?

Very nice work Peter!

Is that the correct suction change over ****? Just wondering as I still need one for the Whitley.

Hi Peter

Hi
could I use the pic of your Halifax panel on my site of Halifax pics.

Great work. Will be doing art work in order to photoetch some bits for my model today and this will certainly help.

Thanks
Phil
