"there is a little toilet right between the 2 seats, the video shows the co-pilot demonstrating using it during a refueling. its probally [sic] portable cause the entry hatch is right there also...no back quarters or room to lie down, maybey [sic] you could stretch your legs out on the toilet and lean back on the wall and nap.."

Does anyone have a relative size comparison of the Su-34 versus the Flanker? Seeing the huge size of the cockpit one would think it at least twice as big, but they share the same airframe and engine family.

there is no toilet. between the two seats is the latch to the stairs already. your link even says that.

There's supposed to be a chemical toilet, no?

Not like it's a damn airliner toilet!

The center fuselage is wider, cockpit and the engine compartment too.
But the Wing Area should be the same as a regular Flanker i think.

It got the Carnards for counter a heavy nose i think.
Also for better take-off stabillity(slow speed handeling), keep in mind its quite heavy if it is all topped out. 45.100kg..

I thought this was settled long ago..
They used the freaking toilet just for the Airshow in Paris, so they didn't have to depart far from the aircraft in search of a public toilet.

It is not installed for the operational units..

Thanks

Good question.
Dunno, but that is the older cockpit layout i believe.
Do they have the same Hud now as they did back then?

Why? Portable commercial chemical toilets weigh some 5-6 kg and can be used even in caravans. All you need to install one in Su-34 is a place 40x60cm. No problem at all.

But how many G, can it pull :)

Reminds me of maybe one of the "There I Was..." comics in the Air Force Magazine published by the USAFA (USAF Association):

Beside an aerial tanker, an USAF jet fighter loops and rolls to impress the tanker crew.
The tanker crew said they could do better... and flew level and straight for a while.
Then the crew told the fighter jock that they just went to the toilet. 8D
