Coalition-F" is a promising 2 x 152 mm caliber artillery tower gun that can become the main weapon for the large ships of the Russian Navy. More - in the material of the Federal News Agency.
"Coalition-F" is intended for installation on large ships of the Russian Navy. The main developer of the artillery installation - Central Research Institute "Burevestnik" (Nizhny Novgorod).

The firing range of the ship installation is more than 50 kilometers, the speed of the shot is 15-16 rounds per minute. In addition, the "Coalition" ammunition will include promising guided missiles and special long-range charges (possibly active-reactive). The fire control system is equipped with a radar and a removable optoelectronic module based on a gyrostabilized platform.

Note that the "Coalition-F" has a fully automatic two-way supply of ammunition. The automatic charging device operates at any angles of vertical gun guidance. Shooting of the artillery installation is carried out alternately by both barrels. Ammunition - up to 70 shots.

It is assumed that the "Coalition-F" will be installed on destroyers of the "Leader" type, which are currently at the stage of technical design. However, it should be noted that the Navy has not yet made a final decision to start work on the development of the prototype KAU "Coalition-F".

From wikipedia

History

The joint stock company Zalyv Shipyard was founded in 1938. It is situated on the shore of the Kerch Strait, between two seas, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. From 1945 to 1980 the yard built about 600 ships, including sea trawlers, small torpedo boats, fishing boats and barges. Since the 1960s it builds tankers.

The shipyard was formerly affiliated with the KrAZ Holding Company (Kremenchuk) and previous ownership / contracts / share % with Norwegian and foreign shipbuilding firms.[clarification needed]. As of April 2017 the company is owned by OOO Vesta (60%) and OOO Enkor (40%)[1]

Freddy's post reminded me of a question: Word is that Sevmash won the Kuznetsov refit contract. Didn't think Kuznetsov can fit through flood basin gates of Sevmash, which was one reason previous repairs were done in PD-50 floating drydock.

I know there were plans to widen the basin gates, has that plan been implemented?

Speaking of the Kuznetsov refit, an article in the Air International mentions that the modernization of Kuznetsov (40-50 mil rubles, which would have apparently included the replacement of the Shipwreck missiles) was canceled just last month and a standard refit was chosen (25 mil rubles).

I must have missed such a news piece last month or was this perhaps already published way before?

Maybe you meant 50 Billion rubles?

25 or 50 millions would pay barely to repaint hull and interiors!

Yes, of course, billions, sorry. It's been quite a while since I was in Russia so I don't remember the exchange rate anymore :)

150,000 tonnes, did not know there was a dry dock that big in Crimea.

The large nuclear ice-transport Sevmorput was built there, a pretty huge vessel.

These days the dock is working on these:

The military production is on a smaller scale though the pace does seem to be promising:

100km ranged torpedoes? Does anyone have more information on the torpedoes shown? From my viewing it showed two models, one with pumpjet and the other without, I'm guessing the one with pumpjet is the 100km ranged one?
