I understand that Bomber Command during WW11 used code names for different types of operations , weapons and targets . I have read that minelaying operations were called " Gardening " , and in this context the Keil Kanal was called " Lettuce " and Brest was apparently " Jellyfish " . I am trying to find out what the words " Carrot " and " Turnip " stood for ? Any help will be appreciated .
