-Can't help with living contacts, but I assume you've already got a copy of Royal Air Force Ashbourne, by Malcolm L Giddings, published by Colerne Debden Publishing c. 1984?
It covers Darley Dale too.

-Hi 1 Gp,
Have you heard of or even considered joining the Airfield Research Group? They have a good website and an excellent magazine 'Airfield Review' which is read by many interested in and knowledgeable on airfield histories.....

Hi
Probably a long shot but here goes.....
As part of a publication I'm working on I'm hoping to speak to anyone who has knowledge of the above stations. I'm particuly looking for local residents who were there before, during and after the airfield. Obviously I'd like to speak to anyone who served there as well.
We have, or will, post on the many websites such as forces re-united etc, and will place local newspaper ads. Just wondered if anyone on here can help or offer other suggestions.
Many thanks
