I recently acquired the following simulator cockpit.
Does anyone know its history?
It has some red white and black paint on the inside of the plywood skin.
No apparent makes name though.

The one used for IR Examiner training was at Gatwick, North side. I did my training in it in the early nineties.

Thanks for the reminder to check the flight archives.
2 articles found. 1976-2196 and 1986-1348 to 1350
Will have to check the photos against the purchased simulator, but it seems to tick the boxes.
My father worked for caafu in the 70s through to the 90s so the connection is nice!
Now back to getting those simulator instruments working.
Thanks again.
