The Sywell Aviation Museum decided to do something for the D-Day celebrations this year and we have a special display on the 315th TCG - the Buddies of the Ninth Air Force (BOTNA) have really supported us - and loaned an original crew uniform together with copies of unpublished colour photos of C47s C46s and C-109s (I didnt know what one was -a modified B-24 tanker each TCG had one)
They really are unsung heroes of D-Day and were pretty comprehensively hammered on D-Day and at Arnhem - their website is excellent - have a peek and if you get the chance pop in and see our display we are free to look round y'know...

P.S. The formation glider aerobatics at DX on Sun were ACE!!!
