Found this film while searching for something else, thought it worth sharing as I've not seen it on this forum.

The low level Heinkel/Me110 beat-ups remind me of the Ray Hanna/Alain de Cadanet Spitfire film from some years back. The RAF pilots must have been very confident of German engineering to fly like that. The Whitley towing two Hotspurs isn't something you'll see at Legends. Thanks for posting Brian.

What an elegant looking aircraft the He 111 was. In contrast the Bf 110 looks as if it was designed with only a ruler.

Thanks for sharing that, some amazing footage there. Wouldn't be out of place on the How Low Can You Go thread on this board in places.

Anyone know what the camera ship is later in the video? The tail can be seen at 7m:15s and a wing at 08m:28s.

I'm assuming from the cropmarks of what appear to be round barrows that the Hotspur footage is over Salisbury Plain.

Definitely Salisbury Plain. Probably operating out of Netheravon or Shrewton.

The German markings suggest for a recce or propaganda film of a movie.

Most likely Everleigh landing ground.
