A bit of further digging shows that the Powder Room was present on Comet 1's and 2's but was just toilets on the 4's- which I assume became less feminine..
Although not sure what RAF Transport Command used them for in their Mk2's:

While it looks somewhat pink, is it possible it's supposed to be a neutral tan-ish colour?
Those of us of a certain age might recall schools and various government buildings using wall tiles and fixtures in that colour.

Time to change the tone of discussion with a delicate question.
I acquired this small panel from Arco as a de Havilland panel.
It is marked with a DH stamp and part number Issue 2 6N.5875.A
What was surprising was that it is a 1950's pink colour.
With a bit of elimination I am sure it is from the Ladies Powder Room of a Comet.
The text of the Haynes guide says that the Gents dressing room was Grey/Silver but the Ladies washroom had "delicate pink - furnishings"
I can only find one image of the interior of said facility:

So two questions
Does anyone have an image of this sign in a Comet powder room ?
Was the ladies powder room only in earlier versions or throughout production?
