-This is fantastic news, a Mosquito with operational engines! I really can't think of a better home for her than Lincs Aviation, a fantastic museum run by very friendly staff. Imagine seeing HJ711 chasing Just Jane around the taxy area, if this could be possible, what a spectacle!

-Makes it easier to get to see her, and in a great location.
Is the move to EK purely based on resident Merlin techs being available or Elvingtons hangar space?

-The long term future of HJ711 really drove the move.
If anything happened to Tony, there's nobody at the Yorkshire air Museum qualified to look after the aircraft, and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre are offering an overwhelming amount of support to allow Tony to achieve his long-held ambition of getting HJ711 running.

-Wing is single piece - fuselage lifts off wing as one piece. Fairly straightforward.

-Cheers David. I must have got confused somewhere. Look forward to seeing her at EK.... imagine a Mossie night time taxi!

-Will be sad to see it leave Elvington, but fully understand the reasons for it going.

-A number of people have been asking about making a donation to the move, so Tony, Elaine and I have set up a JustGiving page to allow people to donate.
The page is at https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/help-tony-agar-move-hj711.
All donations will go directly to Tony. Anything that gets donated over and above the target will be used towards running costs for the aircraft after the move.
Please read the terms and conditions on the JustGiving site before donating to ensure that you're happy!

-Followed this wonderful project since I was a kid. Tony has worked wonders. I am delighted to see her move to East Kirby, one of my favourite living history museums.

-Regarding fuselage, need the beam bar to keep integrity when wings off.
But Tony has probably forgotten more than most of us ever knew about Mossie!

-After way too long, I have finally sorted timelapse videos from the disassembly and reassembly of HJ711 in 2017 and the first public runs of the port engine in 2018 and first short taxy in 2019.
The videos can be found at either HJ711 (mossie.org) or Andy Dawson - YouTube

Following many years residence at its current home of the Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington, Tony Agar plans to move his de Havilland Mosquito NF.II HJ711 to a new home at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre.
The move will be taking place by November, and planning for the move is already underway. Information on the move, including, for those who would like to be present to welcome HJ711 to her new home, when it will take place will be found on the HJ711 Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/Mossiehj711 on the Mossie.org website at http://www.mossie.org/HJ711 or on the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre website at http://www.lincsaviation.co.uk closer to the move date.
Speaking recently, Tony expressed excitement at the new home for HJ711 and the additional facilities that will be available allowing him to complete work to enable HJ711’s engines to be run for the first time in over 70 years.
Anyone wishing to donate to help with the costs of the move, please contact either Elaine Wilcox via the Facebook group, Andy Dawson via the Mossie.org website, or the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre.
