During my ATC days moving around various RAF station came across this super series of flight safety posters headed 'Birds Can Fly'.
There were six or eight in the series, each depicted an aspect of bird flight accompanied by a dramatic photograph. Subjects included: Swans in their choice of takeoff, Gannet and its ability to overshoot, the Frigate Bird which never fly low EXcept ON operations.
Each had a little lesson in flying sense, they were absolute gems.
Has anybody got a set, or some reproduction, I'd love to see them again.
