From Yahoo.co.uk news.....

"A London-bound British Airways jet made an emergency landing in Boston after smoke was reported in the cockpit.

Flight 184 left Newark, New Jersey, on Monday heading for Heathrow, but was diverted to Boston's Logan International Airport.

There were no injuries in the incident.

The Boeing 777 had 141 passengers aboard, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) spokeswoman Arlene Murray said.

The crew reported seeing the smoke in the cockpit when the flight was about 75 miles east of Boston, Murray said.

The cause of the smoke was not immediately known. The FAA will investigate.

The problem appeared to be mechanical - not security related."
