-What I have seen was definitely a CVN, not an LHA. There was a large number of jet fighters on the deck, not a single MV-22, though.
From what I know the CVN only stayed in the port for ca three hours, I was very lucky to be on the right wiondow at the right time..

No... the USN is not providing any CVNs for Lybian ops.
CVN-65 has been in the Red Sea/Indian Ocean for the last few months... she was just passing through on her way home at the end of her deployment.

-I see the Enterprise at Palma de Mallorca on saturday July 02, departing about 15:00. I was on board of the Norwegian EPIC and unfortunatelly the carrier departed two hours before us, and my oportunity to take close photos of the carrier was missed.
Same day hours later USS Bataan arrived at Palma de Mallorca. Is the ship of Renny photo. :eek:Osprey on board:eek: Another oportunity lost by me.
Regards from Spain.

While overflying Palma de Mallorca on Tuesday last week, I have seen an US aircraft carrier parked in the local port. The board was full with aircraft, counted at least 35-40 Bugs, Superbugs and Seahawks. I though it could be connected with ongoing ops over Libya... it was definitely a CVN but could not see the number - anyone knows which carrier was involved?
