Test centre Aviojet

WEARING A special scheme to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Centro Logístico de Armamento y Experimentación (CLAEX, Spain’s armament and experimental logistics centre), C-101 E.25-35 ‘54- 20’ is one of a few Aviojets in service with the unit.

It serves at Torrejón air base for test and chase duties. The tail art was applied on the occasion of the unit’s anniversary back in October 2016, but due to the nature of its activities the aircraft is seldom seen outside Torrejón. On September 19 it was at Albacete for a touch-and-go during a test flight from its home base.
