Shorts 330 takes flight in MSFS

Black Box Simulation has released the Shorts 330 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The package sports three variants, the SD3-30, SD3-60 passenger and cargo variants as well as the Sherpa military version, with 36 real-world liveries.

Highlights include study-level systems and accurate turboprop modelling. The avionics consist of a custom-built Collins FC65 flight director and autopilot, a fully customised Garmin AS400 GPS and a complete set of Collins Pro Line II NavCom radios with user-programmable six-channel memory features and two working weather radar systems from Collins and BendixKing.

The electrical system is faithfully modelled with functional circuit breakers, triple batteries and dual generators. The aircraft also sports full cockpit lighting, including more than 130 bulbs with adjustable rheostats.

Finally, the exterior models are based on Shorts Brothers Blueprints with working doors, including the Sherpa and C23 tail ramps. The Shorts Regional Series Premium edition is available on the Black Box Simulation's website for €49.99 (approx £34).
