RV-10 for X-Plane Released

Digital Replica has announced the new Van’s RV-10 has been released.

The RV10 is one of the most successful homebuilt aircraft on the market. Due to its experimental nature, it can be equipped with different instrumentation and avionics but also some other new features like different propellers, two engines configurations and a G1000 glass cockpit. Each option has its unique flying characteristics, performance and fuel consumption.

 

The model from Digital Replicas includes five liveries and a template for creating custom paint jobs. It comes with two cockpit options, carbon and white. Other highlights consist of a detailed 3D model with 4K PBR (Physically Based Rendering) textures and custom FMOD sounds. The Librain plug-in is supported, providing rain and particle effects.

 

It comes with two engine and propeller options;

Fuel-injected 260hp Lycoming IO-540

Lycoming O-540 235hp carburettor engine

3-blade composite propeller

3-blade aluminium prop

2-blade aluminium propeller.

 

It comes with 3D lighting for the interior and exterior, custom instruments with vibrations and a working circuit breaker panel, while the cockpit features with an option of steam gauges or a glass cockpit with a digital engine management unit (EDM).

 

Cockpit Options:

G5 PFD and HSI with GFC600 digital autopilot with GNS430 GPS

ESP (Electronic Stability and Protection System)

KC150 autopilot with KI256 Flight Command unit

KI525A HSI and KX155 COM/NAV radios.

 

Custom a pop-up menu can be used to change the aircraft configuration, for loading fuel/passengers and adjusting the centre of gravity envelope, viewing checklists and a GFC600 autopilot and EDM pop-up. A built-in updater checks for any new features or patches.
