Leonardo and the Armament Inspectorate of the Polish Ministry of National Defence have signed a contract to supply four additional M-346 Advanced Jet Trainers (AJT). Poland invited Leonardo to discuss the purchase of eight more AJTs, for delivery by 2020 and four more in the 2020–2021 timeframe in January 2016. The March 2018 contract is worth more than €115 million, includes a support package and the option of buying four more aircraft.
