It’s no secret that I’m quite a fan of Orbx products. This is primarily because my main interest in flight simulation stems from the facility it offers for travelling and exploring places around the world which I would probably not have the chance to see any other way. And this is something that Orbx has been providing for years. In fact, since the release of the new Microsoft Flight Simulator (MFS), with its unprecedented realism, these trips have become even more enjoyable.
The product under review here was developed by the team responsible for the Landmarks Singapore and Landmarks London products. This time their talents have been focused on one of the oldest cities in Australia, Brisbane.
Brisbane is the capital of and most populated city in the Australian state of Queensland. It’s also the third most populous city in Australia. Located along the banks of the river it was named after, it extends in all directions along the Brisbane River Valley between Moreton Bay and the Taylor and D’Aguilar mountain ranges. With its fairly temperate climate, the city is naturally a popular tourist destination, although it does have what’s described as ample rainfall, equating to a monthly average of 4.5 inches during the winter months.
