Little Gransden gears up for August airshow

The Little Gransden Air and Car Show returns for its 2023 outing on Sunday August 27

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Little Gransden in Cambridgeshire, the event always attracts aviation enthusiasts, automobile aficionados, and families. Now in its 31st year, the event will again showcase a line-up of aerial displays and classic cars, promising to ‘offer a thrilling fusion of aviation excellence and automotive elegance.’

Weather permitting, visitors can expect air displays from both modern and historic aircraft. Attendees will also get to see an extensive display of meticulously restored classic cars – and naturally there will be plenty of ‘family-friendly’ activities, including funfair rides, children’s entertainment, food stalls and vendors.

"We are thrilled to announce the return of the Little Gransden Air and Car Show," said Philippa Shoobert, the event organizer. "This year's show will deliver an unforgettable experience, combining the breath-taking spectacle of aviation with the timeless charm of classic automobiles. We can't wait to welcome enthusiasts, families, and all those seeking a thrilling and enjoyable day out."

The event will take place on August 27 at Little Gransden Airfield, Sandy, SG19 3BP. Gates will open at 10am, with the flying display commencing at approximately 1pm. Tickets are available for purchase online or can be purchased at the gate on the day of the event.
