Only two countries in the world have ever operated Grumman's mighty F-14 Tomcat. The first is obvious, but given the current state of international affairs, the second seems far less likely. US-Iran relations have deteriorated over the past decades, but in the mid-1970’s the situation couldn’t have been more different.
