Scenery developer, ST Simulations has released Akureyri Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Akureyri International Airport (BIAR), in the North of Iceland, has domestic flights to destinations throughout the country as well as scheduled and charter flights to Greenland and other European destinations.

The package from ST Simulations is a realistic representation of the actual airport with a detailed terminal and airport buildings, including the Icelandic Aviation Museum with custom static models of the DC-3 and DC-6 on display.

Other highlights include an accurate ground layout, including the runway and apron with authentic runway and taxiway markings. The airport and surrounding area come with custom objects and intensive terraforming.
