A new and innovative experience
While we’re used to seeing most flight simulation genres regularly represented across the major simulation platforms, just occasionally a new area is opened up that just grabs your attention. Here we review the HPG Hot Air Balloon for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS).
Who is HPG?
The Hype Performance Group (HPG) is quite a new software development company that focuses on products for simulation software. Back in early 2021, it quietly released the freeware Airbus H135 helicopter for MSFS. I say quietly only in terms of fanfare. Since then, it has become one of the most popular aircraft add-ons for MSFS and has over 536,000 downloads. Simultaneously, HPG has been very busy producing a payware H145 Base Pack, a review of which appears on page 44 in this issue where we’ll read a little more about this development group.
