Duxford Air Festival cancelled

IWM Duxford's first airshow of the year, the Duxford Air Festival, has been cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak. It had been scheduled to take place on May 23-24.

Here's Duxford's statement:

We know there are a lot of fans among you that were looking forward to what was shaping up to be the best Duxford Air Festival yet. We welcome over 90,000 visitors to our Air Shows at IWM Duxford every year and the wellbeing of our visitors. staff and volunteers has, and always will be, our top priority. It is with this in mind that, in line with advice from Public Health England, Duxford Air Festival 2020 will be cancelled. Other events to be cancelled recently include the Midlands Air Festival at Ragley Hall, Warks, on May 29-31, and Newark Air Museum's Indoor Aeroboot on April 4. The Ragley Hall event will return in June 2021. It's highly likely that more events will be cancelled or postponed, so we urge potential visitors to check with the venues / organisers.
