Scenery developer MK Studios has released KLGA - New York LaGuardia Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
LaGuardia (KLGA) is a bustling airport nestled near the heart of New York City. With a history that spans decades, it played a pivotal role in connecting millions of passengers to destinations throughout the US and beyond. The airport also serves as a hub for several major carriers, including Delta and American Airlines.
The package for Microsoft Flight Simulator is an accurate rendition of the actual airport, sporting detailed terminal interiors, up-to-date ground layout and handcrafted airport buildings with animated jetways and working Nool VDGS (Visual Guidance Docking System) devices.
Other highlights include custom 30cm/pixel satellite imagery covering the airport and accurate elevation data based on high-quality LiDAR scans, including runway and apron profiles.
It also features ground polygons with accurate markings and effects such as dirt and cracks, realistic lighting for day and night operations and AI-compatible parking codes. Custom Points of Interest (POIs) around the airport are also modelled. LaGuardia is available on the Contrail App for £13.27.
