Plans for a new transatlantic route have been unveiled. Due to launch from next Summer, it will become the flag carrier’s 27th US destination served directly from London.
British Airways plans to begin flights to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International on June 5 of next year from London/Heathrow.
Using its 12-strong fleet of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, the route will operate five-times-weekly in the Summer season and at four-times-weekly during the Winter using Flight numbers BA 121/120.
The US airport serves the Cincinnati region, which in turn covers parts of three states: Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. British Airways says this direct link offers “incredible new opportunities” for both business and tourism on both sides of the Atlantic.
