The Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) has renewed a contract with RUAG MRO Switzerland to provide propeller maintenance to its Pilatus PC-7 Turbo Trainer fleet.
The publicly tendered contract is expected to run until the end of 2022 and replaces the previous agreement, in which RUAG MRO Switzerland provided propeller maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) to the RNLAF’s PC-7 fleet. The new deal features an option for the air arm to extend the contract until 2026 – the end of the PC-7’s life cycle.

Max Grob, manager of Propeller Aircraft and UAV Business Development at RUAG MRO Switzerland, said: “We are delighted about this order. As a technology partner of the Swiss Army, these synergies in the third market allow us to expand our competencies sustainably and in the long term.”
The new deal will further more than ten years of collaboration between the RNLAF and RUAG in maintaining and supporting the PC-7.
