Banshee, thanks for the comment, yes, they are mine. They were taken at either the airbase at Accra or "up country" at the Ghana Army's Jungle Warfare Training School (cammo Mil) and Tamale airport (UN Mil).

-For no good reason, a few rather static images of Ghana AF Mil 17s and F-27.
Can someone ID the model of Mi-17? Is it a V-5?

-Great photos !! Likewise, I'm a big fan of L-39 serise jet trainer.
On top of gorgeous images of relatively recent Ghana's Air Force that P57 has come up with to please everyone here to the utmost.
I did the search by going through the net, then found things ghanaian, Due to poor visibility greatly affected by dingy weather condition. I can't seem to tell you it's nicely-done as opposed to ones P57 has put in the thread.:diablo:
But let me be a big part of contribution to this thread.
According to press release in ghana-based newspaper. Just a few days ago, They seem to have lost one Mi-17V5 Hip carrying the casket of former GAF Air Marshall in the process of making a landing in the open outside the local police station in Adukro. However, There's nobody get hurt.
The complete story about the crash could have gone something like this, The whirring rotor created so much dust to put the driver at a loss, thus he was compelled to pull it up back into the air, causing it to hit the communication poll by accident to give it a lurch and upset.:dev2:

-Great pics mate, just one question, who's C-130 is that behind the BAE 111 there? Ghana doesn't have any in service so who owns it?
