An interview with Team Fusion (Part 1)

With the recent release of Team Fusion’s IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover BLITZ Edition on Steam, we thought it would be a good time to get some background information on this major project. So we invited Neil Pugh - Head of Marketing and Publicity for Team Fusion Simulations Limited - to participate in a two-part Q&A; the second of which will appear in the next issue of PC Pilot.
PC Pilot: Hi Neil and thanks for agreeing to take part in this interview. Can I start by asking you to tell us about Team Fusion and how it was formed?
Neil Pugh: Hello Derek, thanks for inviting us to talk about our work, here goes. First of all, we would like to thank 1C Online Games, Nikolay Baryshnikov and Jason Williams for their faith in our group and their willingness to trust us with the source code to the game.
Our group is composed of a number of flight simulation enthusiasts, all lovers of aviation with different backgrounds, skills and nationalities. We are all from different countries from around the globe, spanning several time zones. Everywhere, from Sweden to Australia.
